PLEASE NOTE WHEN BOOKING ANY EVENT AT THE HALL, BOTH THE THE TERMS AND SUMMARY DOCUMENTS (found on the left hand side of this page), ARE TO BE READ AND AGREED.  

BY CONTINUING TO BOOK THE HALL, WE THEREFORE ASSUME YOU AGREE TO THE CONTENT OF BOTH DOCUMENTS. Thank you. 


Arrival at the hall
  • Key is in key safe by main entrance door (code sent before event)
  • Familiarise yourself with locations of fire extinguishers
  • Ensure that main door and emergency exits are not obstructed
  • The heating control switches are in the left hand cupboard of the cloakroom. Please do not turn the heaters off at the wall switches.
Setting up
  • Tables are located to the right hand side of the stage
  • Use the trolley to move chairs around the hall
  • Please advise the Booking Secretary of any damage or breakages
  • Turn on dishwasher ahead of usage time.
During the event
  • Parking – please ensure that the highway and nearby properties are not obstructed and that there is space for an emergency vehicle to pass
  • Noise – please be considerate of village residents during the event and on leaving the hall.  No music after midnight please
  • Wax candles are not allowed – please use battery operated candles.
In case of emergency/accident/fire
  • Call fire brigade
  • The first aid box is under the bar on the left
  • A Defribilator is located outside the hall next to the front door
  • For emergency services directions the address is:

  • Please complete an Accident Report in the book provided (under bar) and notify the Bookings Secretary after the function​
After the event
  • Cleaning equipment is stored in the left hand cloakroom cupboard
  • Wash up all used crockery glasses etc – please use your own tea towels
  • All rubbish must be removed and taken away from the hall by the hirer
  • Stack chairs in maximum of 10s and replace all tables to the stage
  • Check all windows and fire exits are shut
  • Ensure that all the heaters are turned off at the control panel
  • Turn off all lights and kitchen equipment. Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and that the dishwasher is empty
  • Lock door and return key to key safe
